Face – By Benjamin Zephaniah

Story Plot: A boy, named Martin, is happy with life and has a girlfriend, named Natalie. One night with some friends they go to a nightclub and hang around for a few hours. Martin meets an older friend who offers him a ride home in a stolen car. They have a car accident and this is where everything changes for Martin. The car sets on fire and he manages to escape but its too late… his face becomes permanently disfigured. (Hence the name face). The story goes on to explain how he lives through the hospital life and what happens when he gets out.

My Opinion: I read this book in school with my class and I found it quite interesting, this was because it relates to modern problems.

Where’s Stig? – By Top Gear

Story Plot: This book is not exactly a reading book, it is based on the Where’s Wally books and you have to find the Stig which is based in each page. There are many different pages ranging from a Stig base and the Top Gear test track.

My Opinion: This book is a very challenging book and takes ages! It entertained me for a long time and I am still working on it; furthermore it tells you extra things at the back of the book to look for. Example: Different celebrities.
